  1.         There is a manual on disk.  To print it out go to the utilities
  2. menu and select "User's Manual".  It will print it out for you.

  41.     If you register, you will recieve a notice of all future upgrades,
  42. you can then order them for a small fee ($15.00, at present). When you
  43. register, I'll send you the latest upgraded version of the program.

  64.         "Sort Files" in the Utility Menu can come in quite handy.
  65. If you are looking for an entry in any of the databases that you
  66. are certain is there, but it doesn't show up, use this option. It
  67. is possible that a corrupted index is present. This will fix it.
  68.  
  69.         Every precaution has been taken to ensure the reliability
  70. of this program and the integrity of your information. However,
  71. 'things happen' (things?). I can't be held responsible for data
  72. loss due to hardware malfunctions, power failures, and so forth.
  73. But if they do, 'Sort Files' might help. It does a lot more than
  74. just "Sort".  AND BACKUP!

  78. Type "SWT" in the directory where you installed "Shareware Tracker"
  79. to start the program.

  81. This program will check to see if you have a color card installed
  82. in your computer. If it finds one, it will set the screen display
  83. to color. If it finds a monochrome card it will set your screen
  84. display to monochrome. But if you are using a color card and a
  85. monochrome monitor, you will see some odd screens. If you do, go
  86. back to the DOS prompt and type "SWT M" to restart the program.
  87. This will correct the screen display, by setting it to monochrome.

  89. Check your CONFIG.SYS file. If you this program generates a "Too Many
  90. Files Open Error", your CONFIG.SYS  must be changed to:
  91.         FILES=90
  92.         BUFFERS=20
  93.         (edit these two lines to the above.)

  104. the warranties of merchantability and of fitness for any purpose.
  105. The author assumes no liability for damages, direct or conse-
  106. quential, which may result from the use of "Shareware Tracker"."

  108. "Shareware Tracker" is a "shareware program" and is provided at no
  109. charge to the user for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your
  110. friends, but please do not give it away altered or as part of
  111. another system.  The essence of "user-supported" software is to
  112. provide personal computer users with quality software without
  113. high prices, and yet to provide incentive for programmers to
  114. continue to develop new products.  If you find this program
  115. useful and find that you are using "Shareware Tracker" and continue to
  116. use "Shareware Tracker" after a reasonable trial period, you must make
  117. a registration payment of $29.00 to BlueCollar.  The $29.00
  118. registration fee will license one copy for use on any one
  119. computer at any one time.  You must treat this software just like
  120. a book.  An example is that this software may be used by any
  121. number of people and may be freely moved from one computer
  122. location to another, so long as there is no possibility of it
  123. being used at one location while it's being used at another.
  124. Just as a book cannot be read by two different persons at the
  125. same time.

  127. Commercial users of "Shareware Tracker" must register and pay for their
  128. copies of "Shareware Tracker" within 30 days of first use or their
  129. license is withdrawn.  Site-License arrangements may be made by con-
  130. tacting BlueCollar.

  132. Anyone distributing "Shareware Tracker" for any kind of remuneration
  133. must first contact BlueCollar for authorization.
  134. This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
  135. recognized by the (ASP) as adhering to its guidelines for
  136. shareware distributors, and such distributors may begin offering
  137. "Shareware Tracker" immediately (However BlueCollar must still be
  138. advised so that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with the latest
  139. version of "Shareware Tracker".
